To schedule surgery or inquire about your surgery, please call surgical scheduling at (248) 663-1904.

 

We will do our best to accommodate requests, but surgical times generally are not available until the hospital notifies you the day before surgery.

 

You will be contacted by a representative from anaesthesia pre-screening prior to your surgical date; a full medical interview will be conducted by phone. This will take about 10-15 minutes.

 

A representative from the hospital also will contact yout to verify insurance information and update your address and phone numbers. Our surgery schedulers will contact your insurance company for prior authorization (if needed). It is very important to notify us if your contact information has changed.

 

Please refer to the list of medications to discontinue. If you are taking a blood thiner, please contact your prescribing doctor to make a plan for stopping before surgery if needed.

 

If you require medical clearance, that form should be completed by your doctor and faxed back to our office a week prior to your surgical date; please call to confirm that we have received it.

 

PLEASE NOTIFY US OF RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT WE CAN INFORM ALL INVOLVED AND ACCOMMODATE OTHERS WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN THAT DATE.
